Qi Lei is a professor and master's supervisor at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. Currently, his research team focuses on applied fundamental research in the "design and application of nano-therapeutic drugs for targeting or regulating the pathological microenvironment," with a particular emphasis on areas such as desensitization therapy, tumor treatment, and skin repair. To date, he has published over 70 SCI papers in internationally renowned scientific journals in fields such as polymers, nanomaterials, and biomedicine, including Progress in Materials Science, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, and Small. His personal H-index is 38, and he has been granted 5 national invention patents. He has also presided over several research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation General Program, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Special Funding and General Program.
