廖凯于中南大学获得眼科学专业博士学位，于2024年加广州医科大学生物医学工程学院iCAN Lab，担任博士后。他专门从事纳米药物治疗自身免疫疾病的研究，主要专注于基于体内CAR-T疗法的研究。目前项目集中基于LNP-mRNA的体内CAR-T疗法治疗系统性红斑狼疮，他的研究旨在为系统性红斑狼疮治疗提供创新解决方案。
Kai Liao obtained his PhD in Ophthalmology from Central South University. In 2024, he joined the iCAN Lab at the School of Biomedical Engineering, Guangzhou Medical University, as a postdoctoral researcher. His research focuses on nanomedicine-based therapies for autoimmune diseases, with a particular emphasis on in vivo CAR-T cell therapy. Currently, he is developing LNP-mRNA-enabled in vivo CAR-T strategies for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), aiming to pioneer innovative treatments for this challenging disease
